Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT).
Why do you react the way you react to others? What does the other person trigger in you? In this individual program we work from the attachment perspective and you learn to become more aware of your feelings and needs. And you learn to deal with them in a different way, so that you do not keep repeating automatic reactions.
Pathway focused on the body

Body-oriented sessions to increase awareness in relationships

Learn to listen better to your body’s language. Because the body tells us a lot. In fact, our autonomic nervous system is constantly focused on connecting with others and reacts faster than we can think. Are you often in your head and do the signals from your body usually pass you by? Then this program is for you.

Pathway focused on work

Work is an important pillar of our daily lives. But sometimes contact with a colleague can be difficult. For example, do you get easily irritated, or are afraid to speak out. We can also get into all kinds of complicated negative patterns with colleagues. With this program you learn to better understand your own reactions and change them in such a way that working relationships become better. So that you can focus on your work again, instead of the contact demanding so much energy.

Pathway focused on trauma

If you have gone through unpleasant experiences in relationship with another person, it can carry over into your reactions now. With this course you can process those earlier experiences and thus reduce the automatic reactions. Then you can respond more freely and consciously in the here and now.

We offer two ways:
EMDR: EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing. By straining your working memory in many ways while focusing on (aspects of) the unpleasant memory, the emotional charge and vividness of the memory decreases. Read more at emdr.co.uk

Sensorimotor Psychotherapy: when we experience something unpleasant, we often cannot react as we would really like to. That “unexecuted reaction” settles in the body and can then occur automatically again and again. For example, we keep getting scared, angry or tense in situations that somehow remind (our body) of the unpleasant experience. Sensorimotor Psychotherapy is a body-oriented way of working to “free” those bodily reactions from your body, so to speak. You can break free from unpleasant past experiences.

Pathway around pregnancy

Being pregnant, the birth of a child, becoming a father or mother. These are major life events. Counseling during this phase can be very supportive.
